Looks like someone associated with the Pink Agave is opening there under the name "Ricky's".
Facebook Page only describes it as a neighborhood bar and kitchen. Address is listed for Mariners location.

the food at pink agave in ponchatoula is way better than it needs to be but the place itself is creepy. Hopefully it’s not another Mexican place.

Damn. When we lived in AP it was always worth the drive from Gtown to Hammond to eat at Mariner's.

We went there Saturday night for a birthday dinner, first time being there and everything the wife and I had was great. I was surprised.
The music and atmosphere though, is definitely not for me.

Pink Agave went out of their way to say that it wasn't their restaurant but they sure seem to know more about what's going to happen there than anyone else.

I read that more as an announcement of a partnership with Ricky.
