Does anyone have a map of the Friday fish fry locations saved? Some news organization created one last year, but I can’t find it now. (Orleans, Jefferson parish) I’m using the archdiocese website, but the churches are all over the place (literally.) Also, the churches don’t necessarily serve every Friday. Only a few serve every week during Lent. A calendar to help stay on top of who’s serving when would be awesome.

I stopped at St. Jude’s yesterday on the way home from the LSU Baseball game and was a little disappointed. The fish was good but, for $10, it was pretty much two fish filets, lots of fries and a roll. There was a small, and I mean small, salad included. I hope the others around the area are a little better.

Aren't the sales also supposed to money raisers?

I gave up on these. Every one I’ve tried is more cheap and fast than quality food for the people.

We also picked up at SJS around 5:30PM

We got 2 combo plates. Each had 4-5 filets and half a dozen shrimp, loaded with fries, roll, & salad.

You should start a fish fry app (like the crawfish app).

I can only tell you what I got and the box I was given only had two filets and we must have been in line around the same time.

I got a sorry one Friday from the local church.
It was one little piece of fish, 3 little potatoes, a cold corn and a small roll with a packet of ketchup.

I guess it's for a good cause but it was a weak plate.

$12
