You know you don't have to go to NOLA or Costco to get wine right.....

But anywho
Are you going to tell the glass what kind/style you like?

Copy and paste sorry for the caps, 2011 VETUS TORO TEMPRANILLO, big chewy Spanish wine. I think this could easily be a $35-40 bottle.

They also have a good deal on the Kim Crawford sav blanc

Well aware. I usually get it from Sam's, but we're going to Costco for a few other things so figured I'd load up.

Prefer merlots, pinots, and cabernets. I'm just not up to date on what Costco is carrying right now.

Apothic

Skip it unless you have no palate for wine.

I know it's against what many wine snobs consider good wine, but my wife loves the Bota Box wine, especially the Chardonnay. As far as I know, that is the only brand of box wine Costco sells and only 2 kinds of it in Chardonnay and red.

I'm not a big wine drinker but I do know they have a huge selection of wines at good prices, but they also have that locked case with some stuff at insane prices. You could buy a new compact car for the cost of some of what they have in their locked case.

When at Costco I buy the Ercavio Temperanillo Roble(purple design on label) and the cycles gladiator pinot. I pick a random bottle up every time I'm there.

I like the Foris white wines as well that you can find at Costco. If you want to grab a bottle of white.

Hess Select Treo (the winemaker's red blend) is either 12.99 or 13.99 and a good weeknight bottle.

Just in case you want some whites for guests, I recommend the Pine Ridge viognier/chenin Blanc blend or the Matua Sauvignon Blanc. Great prices and great taste for the prices ..
