Any of you have it? Looking to get a few pots and a sauté pan to replace some 20 something year old Emeril cookware that is worn out with scratches etc. just wondering if the quality is there on these.

I have a skillet. Not a huge fan because when I shoot it with my infrared the temp always reads low. Then I throw a filet in there and it almost ignites it is so hot.

Loved mine at first. Did not stay flat(maybe my fault). Bought Tramontina next and I like it more for less money.

Maybe it's your infrared?

It isn't. It works fine with other pans and when measuring the A/C.

Have a couple of their carbon steel pans...they're ok...honestly I'd just go to a restaurant supply store if you have one nearby and grab a couple pans there...or like someone else mentioned, Tramontina.

I got sucked in by the Alinea commercials. If it's good enough for the best restaurant in the world, it's good enough for me!
For real though, it's been great, worth the money I feel. I have two skillets and a pot, and I'm using one of them every day.

I’ve got they’re non-stick cookware & a paella pan. All solid stuff. Much better and heavier than Calphalon, and it retains heat well.

No, I think you're just confused.

The thermometer reads the temp. The metal can't trick it.
