I bought a subscription to Bon Appétit magazine last year for $5 (and before they went to shite ). I get emails from them and I’m a huge fan of flavorful meals and trying new things. The last email included one for a Somalian stew called Digaag Qumbe. The results were a delicious and mild curry that I would make again.

Here is the recipe: LINK

I added more carrots and potatoes (it makes a large amount) and I added a little more of each spice for more pow.

That looks great. IWEI.

My wife eats only fish and chicken, and my daughter is not a seafood fan (steak, chicken, and pork). Chicken is the common denominator so we eat chicken 75% of the time. I try new flavors all the time because I'm board with the same thing over and over. chicken is a good base for many types of ethnic dishes. I try to post pic on this board when I can, and encourage everyone to do it.

I think it’s hilarious that chick called them out for racism and then it turned out to not be racism.

That dish looks delicious. I love coconut and something tangy together.
