Lunch Today at Kelly's Village Inn in Harahan

Gotta say we really like this place. We had an early Mother's Day lunch there today. $1.99 crawfish, $5.99 raw oysters which I followed with a soft-shell crab poboy.
Others had seafood platters, crab platters onion rings and sweet potato fries. Any body else eat there?

My husband lives in River Ridge Sunday night through Thursday. He is always looking for casual dining. I'll tell him about this place. I have a feeling he will be going for the raw oysters. What a good price!

That price is only Wednesdays and Saturdays - all day.

I wonder how much business they lose because Bing and some of the links on Google make it seem like this is a chain that resembles a low grade waffle house style restaurant.

The owner bought his brother out after some bad blood and now the brother owns Charlie's Seafood down the road.
