Going through on Friday. I need a good lunch spot, preferably not too far off I-10. Nothing fancy, but good food. Thanks!

Botsky's
Steamboat Bills will get mentioned I'm sure. I haven't been there in forever so can't vouch for how good it is now.
Famous Foods - Wet Cracklin is amazing. They also have bbq plate lunches.
These below aren't right off I-10, but are right off 210 and worth the drive IMO.
Pronia's - Get the Muffuletta.
Darrells
Tony's Pizza

1910 is just a little south of I-10 on Ryan Street and is really solid.
Leonard’s Food Quarters & Guillory’s famous foods are both good for plate lunches/soul food.
Steamboat Bill’s is decent, not great.

Come thru there often? Pick one of the other recs…. If not, u ain’t done LC without the “Darryl’s Special” w jalapeño Mayo!
??. It gets some hate here, for opinionated reasons, but is a solid local staple… for what it is. Get a half tho. U be asleep 30 miles down the road otherwise.
I’m sure I’m gonna get down voted, don’t live n LC, but still get it on an occasional stop n town.
