What y’all got? I’ll be passing that area around lunchtime today.

Somewhere with a good shrimp poboy or Acadiana style seafood gumbo would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Landry's shrimp and crab gumbo is one of the best. Simple dark roux and good seafood.

Not sure about the gumbo or poboy but Poche's Market has great plate lunches (if they're still open, haven't posted anything on their FB page in months).

Pretty sure Landry’s closed during the pandemic, with no plans to reopen.

Cafe Sydney Mae in downtown BB is where I’d go.

Pat's Fisherman's Wharf in Henderson is pretty good.

Are they open for lunch? If so, then that is another good one.

I think so. A few doors down is Jacqueline’s, and the owner/cook/chef is a lady from France.
