You still never told us where you went and what you had!!!

I swear people ask for good eats in Ellic and then they always go to McDonald’s or subway :(

Going to piggyback on this, but anyone know details about the place going in where Green Heart Meals was by T-Mobile on Jackson? Sign on the window mentioned falafel and shawarma. . I tried Apollo once and didn't care for it.

I don’t even know where the T-Mobile is on Jackson street and I’ve been here 15 years lol.

it shares a building with that mattress firm place in the corner of Jackson across from chick fil a. On a side note, it looks like Moes closed up shop. Maybe too many damn Mexican places to compete with

That's Verizon. T-Mobile is across the street by Capital One.

The Cottage used to be my family's favorite lunch spot in Alex. It's still good, but spotty. I think they lost a few old time cooks during Covid and haven't replaced them with the same quality people that they used to have.

When it's good, it's very comforting. The cream of shrimp soup is outstanding.

We ended up at Atwoods Bakery and it was on point. I got the French Dip and wife got The Atwood and both were great. We dropped $100 on baked goods from the bakery before we left since we were headed to meet a group of friends in Dallas. Muffins, cookies, pumpkin bread was all legit.

The replacement, Javi P's, is a good bit better. Just went for the first time today.
