Will be doing a college visit at SMU with my daughter Sunday and Monday.

Any lunch or dinner recommendations nearby? Nothing in particular, just would like to experience something good while in the neighborhood.

Won't have a car, but could Uber if needed.

Not super close (5 miles?) but if your in town then you might as well go to Pecan Lodge or Cane Rosso.

Messero's in Inwood Village is very solid Mexican.

You could easily walk to Sniders plaza from SMU where there's Mexican (Banditos), poke, Italian and other options.

Theres a torchys and twisted root right off of campus on SMU boulevard if you are just looking for something quick. There's also a place called Blatts burger only about a mile away that is pretty good. Really depends on what you want to eat

For Lunch, there is a Torchy's Tacos on SMU blvd. just east of 75. There is a Twisted Root Burger on SMU too thats a decent place. Desperados is great old school messican on Greenville just a quarter mile from Torchy's that would be good for lunch or dinner.

A quick Uber would get you to The Grape on lower Greenville which is a nice bistro type place. On lowest Greenville there is Rapscallion which is another nice bistro, Teppo for great sushi, Sevan G&G cafe for Lebanese (run by a lebanese family) and a bunch of other stuff along that stretch of greenville. Close by is Mot hai Ba which is some of the best vietmanese in Dallas.
