Yep, meat science slaughtered goat, cows, and pigs when I was there. We also made bacon that was sold there as well.

i fricking love the Dairy.... i was thinking about swinging by last week... nice to know they are closed this semester..

The best pork chops I've bought were from the dairy store. The sausage was very good too.

2010's, Dairy Store had the best affordable lunch on campus. A sausage dog and a coke was $3. (Might have been $3.50)

Yep. Got some every semester I was at LSU pretty much . Sucks that they are closed at the moment.

Ice Cream is very good - I like the rum raisin and butter pecan, but as someone mentioned - not every flavor all the time - the only complaint I have with the store is that it's difficult to find a parking spot that is walking distance to the store- there is no dedicated parking lot.

You can park in the metered spots near BEC/PFT off of S Quad Drive (formerly Nicholson Extension) and it's about a 5 min walk from there. Maybe not the best method for future reference but it's easily doable.
