Hoping someone could recommend a place where I can pick up some nice Louisiana Navel Oranges other than Becknel's in Belle Chasse. Nothing against Becknel's but it's too far out the way for me. Also, any feedback on the quality of the crop this year would be appreciated. T.I.A.

Rouses handles a lot of local produce but I don't know if they have La. grown naval oranges in stock at the moment.

Often, there is a guy selling out of the back of a truck on St. Charles between S. Carrollton and Tulane.
