Brooklyn Pizzeria is the best in Metairie.
Used to be years ago. The owner apparently moved out of state a while back and has had a bunch of incompetent people running the place into the ground over the past 5 years or so. It is gross. Really, really unsanitary place. On top of that the pizza is no longer good and the service is horrible.

From what I understand, the people behind this place have no money issues. John Georges is one of the 2 investors.

And I see Scott Walker hocking this place as one of his clients. The branding is atrocious. Wouldn't claim that.

You can always tell a Scott Walker project from those terrible drone videos hahaha

$17.99 for a dozen wings!? Are these F'n gigantic as well?

Looking at their Facebook video of the opening tonight I would have thought all these people were related to each other. Either that or the generic soccer/volleyball mom have the same playbook.

It’s John George’s and Gabe Corchiani aka Lucky Coin/Video Poker money. Corchiani has been financing Country Day basketball for years. They are extremely tied into that area socially and have zero money issues. They can keep that place afloat forever just based upon those two facts. Also, supposedly they Corchiani offered the space to Mo’s Pizza from Westwego originally and they declined.

Also, are they charbroiled oysters?

$18 bucks for a dozen wings I would assume they would be chicken leg size, come with 12 stalks of celery, a bottle of ranch and a bottle of bleu.

Okay I went for the first time and wanted to give my thoughts:
First the gimmick of the 30” pizza was cool! The thin crust is what my family enjoys. For some reason my wife thought we need more than one 30”. We had them double cut the pizza. When we finished we Only had 1 slice or 3 smaller cut slices left over.
Now my disappointment. The pizza topping were not plentiful and very sparse. There was approximately 3-4 inches of dough from the edge of the crust before the toppings or cheese began. So lots of crust exposed.
I know they are new and I will give them another chance but damn, fill my pizza with ingredients and make sure its covered to the edge.

Toppings not plentiful, I will send it back.

Toppings and sauce/cheese are non-existent 3-4 inches from the edge of the crust on a 30” pie, I will send it back.

Meh, I’m just eating that mediocre pizza and not going back
I don’t like nutsack in my pizza sauce

When I send it back, I’m out of there. I’ll drop a $5 bill on the table for my drink.
They know what they’re doing, skimping ya like that. That’s Grade A bologna.

We went this weekend and split 3 slices between 2 adults and 2 kids. Enough to feed us, but this plus two drinks was $30.
- In comparison, we usually get a whole pizza, salad and 2 drinks from Reginellis for the $30.
We like the thin crust, but the pizza hardly had any sauce or toppings. The cheese is really thin so it burns very easy. Two of the three slices had crispy cheese whisps. Really poor pizza, overpriced, and the stupid sized slices have to be cut for the kids to eat them, so more work.

Tried to go as I had heard the same and there was a huge line and over an hour wait on two occasions.

I am going to wait for them to improve this place before checking out. I did see some 400lb baw sucked down one of those big slice challenge in like 2 1/2 minutes.

I wouldn't get the huge pie. I think they serve an 18" too. Pizzas should not be over 20" as that is pretty much a functional limit. I get it is their gimmick, but slices from a 30" pizza don't work and bake times are trickier.
