Yeah if I could walk in and grab W12 anytime I would have passed but they are doing a good job in marketing this (as well is the bourbon people) and it’s not as easy to get., Secondary is over $100 anyway.

Guy in NO just flipped his second case of Weller 12 in the pasr couple of months. For $1100. For those wondering why they can't find a bottle, and who's store owners only see a stray bottle every now and then, seems as if there's an interruption in the local supply chain. Guess making $75/bottle over retail provides incentive for folks to circumvent the system.

No this dude is intercepting the stagecoach before it drops anything in the stores. There's another guy doing the same thing in Houston and he works for Republic. The gubberment forces this 3 tiered BS system on us, they need to police that weak middle link in the supply chain. It's frustrating not to be able to get a bottle while dudes flip caseloads they scammed for a huge markup on line.

I agree NOLA. It's super shady, not sure how they are doing this. Has to be a retailer or multiple retailers involved, but even so, when even large BT accounts can't get more than a bottle or two, how can any customer be getting cases?

Saw a place in Kerrville TX selling Weller 12 for 170 and Blantons for 180. I just laughed at them and walked out when I saw that. Not giving people like that my money.

It could just be that he has a connection at Dorignacs and is getting the Weller 12 before some of it has a chance to hit the shelf. I know that I stopped in there about a month ago and they had 3 Weller 12's sitting on the shelf. They were $50 each but I bough them all. Last week a guy that I work with was in NOLA for CLE and he stopped at Dorignacs and they had 9 bottles of Weller 12 on the shelf at $50 each. Dorignac's gets a lot.
