We live in BR now but will be in Nola for the weekend. Some places we’ve tried and enjoyed are Paladar 511, Jack Rose, Costera, Palm and Pine, N7, Giana (didn’t care for this one) and we’ve been to most of the established places. Are there any hot new places that we could get a reservation for this weekend? Looking for something on the nicer side. Doesn’t have to be August/Commanders type nice but something in line with the places I mentioned. We’ll have a vehicle so location isn’t important.

You could try Avo, Zasu or Carrollton Market.

Saffron is great and a little different. I guess you could describe it as new Orleans Indian fusion.
There should be some threads on it.

Heard good things about the Chloe but not sure how upscale it is.

We’ve been to Avo and CM and we have reservations at the Chloe later this month. Copper Vine and Zasu both look good though. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestions. What about Luvi? Menu looks interesting but I haven’t heard anything about it.

It gets good reviews. I didn't particularly like it, but I think I was in a bad mood when I had it so it probably played a part. Need to try them again. With covid restrictions it may cut into the experience of the raw bar service.

Think LL has been and they liked it. Maybe she will chime in.

I checked out Bower's website. It looks awesome and they had available reservations so I booked that. Thanks for the help.

Bower is good and a fun atmosphere in their garden. Union Ramen is great, especially for lunch. Station 6 might be my favorite seafood and fish restaurant right now.
