Anyone seen green onion sets for sale around Baton Rouge? I've tried several local hardware stores, all sold out.
TIA.

Have you tried any nurseries, produce stores, Farmers Market open today downtown or even Fresh Market

Depends on how much you're looking for. If just a few dozen, simply go to the grocery store, pick out bunches of fresh green onions in the produce section that have some roots still attached to the white ends, go home and cut them off up about 1 inch from the root and stick them in the ground.
They will grow in no time. If you want a bunch, buy seeds and plant them and once they come up, thin them out as needed.

Clegg's was my 3rd stop - six varieties of bulbs on hand.
Southside Produce - none
La Nursery - pre-potted bulbs only
Thanks to all for the pointers.

we have had really good luck planting the stumps of store bought green onions and we have also grown several yellow onions sticking the root end of yellow onions in the garden too.

the "stumps" are not as flavorful as the original!
