Have a few buddies coming from Cali/Detroit for their first LSU home game experience for the Auburn game and they want to try out some local breweries, bars, eats etc.

Figured I would look for advice on here for the brew part since I am a teetotaler. Read on here bout Time Roof (not as good as of late?) and am aware of Abita, but any other recommendations are highly appreciated.

Maybe can tour Time Roof or Abita breweries? They will be here Thu afternoon to Sunday noon week of AU game

Thanks.

I would just bring them to NOLA for breweries on that friday. Tin Roof may not be a bad option on Saturday before the game though.

Urban South, Courtyard Brewery, Miel Brewery, NOLA Brewery, Port Orleans all within a few miles of one another.

Not sure if they still do it but a few years back from 2-4 on Fridays NOLA brewery had free beer

Pretty good list with plenty of eating options in N.O.

If you have a DD on Friday, I’d suggest a north shore trip. Lakefront for Old Rail, then Chafunkta Brewing, then Abita then Gnarley Barley on your way to BR.

The list of NO above is good. Don't waste your time at Miel if you don't like stouts or sours. They have some pretty unique stuff tho
