Looking to reserve a couple sacks for the weekend, where are some good places around this area to check prices?

Guy on old Jefferson right by the bridge has the best in the area

Yea I have heard that. He was still around $2.50/pound. Is that normal for this time of year?

i need to get some for this weekend too. Al Lorio had some of the best crawfish i have ever seen a few months ago, but i dont want to pay the 2.50 it was last time for how much i need. I wonder if he has gone down on price.

I haven't seen him in years but he sure did many moons ago. I used to fish in his bream tournament at Belle River and after the fishing he had someone boiling hundreds of pounds of #1 select crawfish and beer which made the $50 entry fee worth every penny.
Al used to be the only thing on Burbank.

Does he take Credit cards? I've always paid cash and I don't want to have to pull out a bunch of money just to go get crawfish

Crawfish app says Tramontes and Rouses have live crawfish for $.95 and .97 a pound respectively.

Do those places have decent crawfish? Good price but I don't want bad crawfish.

Well as I said I haven't seen him in years but I would be surprised. Al always was kind of off the grid.

That's going to be peeler crawfish. We're getting $1 for live wholesale and peelers are $0.45

Yea I know. That's why I'm asking. I have always paid cash. And yea I'm hesitant to pay 97 cents at rouses. Al had the best crawfish I have seen in years in March.

Well just pick up the phone and call him.

I did. Gone down to 2.25. still high

But they were some great crawfish. He was appreciative when I complemented on them.
