Good day gentlemen. Finally not sweltering so that I can enjoy my first stick in a few months. It’s a good one. Sipping some coffee and eating some chocolate with it.

Rocky Patel white label Churchill lit up now. Very smooth and mild. Staying lit as well.

Glad I bought a 5 pack of these on sale at cigar international

Weather feels so good outside

90 degrees? I’ll take it

ETA: half way through this stick and it’s very disappointing. Super tight draw that requires way too much pull to draw any smoke. Cherry getting too hot and causing a nasty ashy flavor. Bummer.

Have to roll that cigar in your fingers to loosen it up.

Trying a new Camacho with some 4 Rose's. So far it's pretty good. I'm not a big fan of Camacho but I may have to revisit the brand again.

Happy Friday gents.

Last Saturday cigar after some yard work. First cigar since Father’s Day so went with an aged H. Upmann Cuban from my humidor. It’s been too damn hot!

Wanting to enter the world a cigar a little. Smoked a few over the years.

Went to a cigar store here in Greensboro that got good reviews. Remember I know nothing really about cigars.

Went to Greensboro Cigar Company on Westover Terrace.
website

Told Pete I was looking for something entry level, smooth, and on the sweeter side. Pete seemed to have a lot of knowledge about cigars.

He hooked me up with two cigars to try.

An Isla de Sol Robusto and A Tabak. No idea what a good cigar costs, but these seemed reasonable... One was $10 and the other was $12. Guess middle of the road prices??

I was just wondering from the cigar people if these are considered decent cigars. I will be trying one of them tonight. Not sure which one yet.

Those cigars are about as middle of the road as it gets as far as flavor, quality and price. They are good though, I wouldn’t have any qualms buying and smoking them myself though I wouldn’t consider it a luxury smoke.

You can find good smokes in the $5 per stick and above, and need to determine if you are going to be a daily, weekend or occasional smoker. Once you find a cigar you like, you can purchase boxes online, sampler packs online, etc. You will need a humidor, tupperdore or any of many quality storage containers once you start buying more than a few sticks. It's mainly about finding the flavor profile you like in a cigar, and going from there.
