Y'all are cracking me up!!

We have had this wine fridge for years and after we built the bar it was sitting empty in the garage. I just had to find a way to repurpose it, you know, for the environment and all!

I am still waiting for the humidifier to show and suspect USPS has lost it in transition from NY to LA. The company rep is keeping close tabs on any tracking updates that I can't see online and even reached out via phone call yesterday to touch base with me.

Been waiting all week for a cigar this evening. May go with a Perdomo myself.

Have been seeing a lot of you post about buying from Fox Cigar. Pulled the trigger on a box of my usuals and a 5 pack of Ashtons. Prices on the box were in line with other sites I buy from and the Ashton $3 cheaper at Fox.

Perdomo is up there as one of the best for me. They’re excellent across the board.

Apparently we’re all going to be paying a lot more for our cigars soon. There’s a 1000% increase in taxes being proposed on premium cigars woven into this ridiculous infrastructure bill.

I chose this beauty instead of Perdomo. Afternoon coffee and Plasencia Alma Del Fuego FTW! Let’s get this weekend started right.

Trying a new stick the shop recommended with some Smoke Wagon. Not a bad way to ease into the weekend.

Afternoon Update:
The correct electronic humidifier, Oasis Excel, arrived today and just finished the install. I will let it run at 70% RH for 24 hours in order for the Spanish cedar I have in the box to absorb and stabilize at this level. I will run a set temperature of 68° as the research I have been doing identifies this as an ideal temperature for +/- 1° to 2° fluctuation. The pics following are the Oasis Excel, Oasis Excel installed with current RH and Temperature readings and overall look of install at this point. I’ll update tomorrow once loaded up with some stogies.

Can never go wrong with a Tatuaje.

I’m about to get into this Honchos I’ve been thinking about all week.

After a couple weeks of the build I am almost complete. I will build a drawer and a few trays out of Spanish cedar to work with the existing wooden trays. After a 24 hour humidity acclamation with the correct electronic humidifier I filled the humidor with my stogies on hand and added a fan in the bottom to help move air around (read that this aids in proper distribution of humidity from top to bottom). My old humidor on top now holds my lighters, cutters, punch’s and other cigar and pipe accessories.
