So you probably think TJ Ribs and Ninfa's are the best of the best.

Nah, I don't think much of either of those restaurants.

What would you consider the best of the best in Baton Rouge?

BR used to have a great Greek resturant "Zorbas" was on the corner of Bluebonnett and PErkins where LA langiappe is now, it was awesome, I understand the owner went through a messy divorce and ended up closing and I believe he made a nother run at it in the shopping center at staring and highland but did not last long. It was not your typical G&L place

I am not from England. British people suck and although British food is tasteless food it is still better than Cajun food. I was there for a just a visit. I can't wait until I go back to Atlanta.

Those the "major" cities that I have visited or lived in. See where Baton Rouge ranks:

1. Atlanta
2. Seattle
3. Ankara (Turkey)
4. Miami
5. Damascus (Syria)
6. Vancouver (Canada)
7. London (England)
8. Cairo (Egypt)
9. Orlando
10. Amsterdam (Holland)
11. Dallas

Scroll down....

78. Baton Rouge

So.....how many cities have you been run out of? ....or fled from? Would Homeland Security be interested?

I see his brother all the time, but I haven't seen him in forever.

Last I heard he was working at the Belle.

Zorbas was a great place. As was the old Serops on Government St., where La Carretas is now.

Both were really nice full service establishments, with top notch food in top notch settings.

For some reason, this cuisine (or these cuisines, I should say, as Zorbas and Serops understood the distinction between Greek and Lebanese food) has since gone the route in BR of being nothing but pseudo fast food.

Try the Serop's on Corporate - it's not quite the Government location, but it's nicer than the others.

Who trolls a food and drink board?
Maybe someday he'll get enough experience here to move up to trolling the ticket exchange.

You must be going to the wrong place if you think Lebanese is bland.

I know, but I still think you're going to the wrong places if it's bland. I'd make suggestions but I haven't lived in the area in almost ten years.
