Gas station hamburgers and Cafe Opera are pretty much your only options. The burgers aren't too bad and Cafe Opera can be hit or miss, depending on what's cooked that day.
I'd suggest taking Hwy 182 into Opelousas and going to Pearl's for a plate lunch.
Was that blue meth at the bottom of Daryl's ziploc bag full of meds?

Also, what "abilities" do elves have?

They can walk on top of snow. You can see Legolas do this in the movie when the fellowship tries to cross Caradhras.

If an evil being can make such a powerful ring, why can't good create a ring to counter it?

Here's my take on this question:

Sauron was essentially a demi-god, having been the chief lieutenant of Morgoth (who could be equated to Lucifer in Middle Earth mythos). At the time of the creation of the rings he was the most powerful entity on Middle Earth. He bound a great deal of his "life force" in the one ring when he created it, and there simply wasn't a single good being that could match that power.
Also, he was the one that taught the elves how to make rings, and they couldn't match up to his ability.
IIRC in the book they got some low level mafia guy who was getting convicted of another crime to confess to the cop killing.
When the big man was killed you must have wounded it, it's blood was on the leebes.

Same cast, yeah.

Hulu hosts some episodes and they're all on Netflix instant.

It's a good end to a good series. If you liked the movie you should do yourself a favor and watch the TV show.

There's a Spanish zombie movie out called [REC] that terrified me.

Good movie.

My pick would go to The Thing.

1. Is 'The Other Eye' going to be the name for your project?
2. Is that a reference to the Third Eye or the Brown Eye?
Anakin did bring balance to the force.

Before him, there were WAY too many Jedi, only like 3 sith. He evened the odds, by the end there were only 2 on each side.
