Brewed out of Mississippi. Picked up a six pack of Southern Hospitality, anyone else had them?

Haven’t picked anything up from them in a long while, but Southern Pecan was one the beers that got me started into craft beer.

Timber Beast was the first hoppy beer I ever liked. Doesn’t seem to taste the same now. But I think the ones I’ve had recently were old. Not that you can tell when they don’t put the damn date on the bottle.

I used to love it too. I don't remember the details, but they changed the recipe years ago and started using a different hop. It was never the same. I don't buy any of their stuff anymore.

I've only tried the pecan. It's good but won't blow you away or anything

I think they hve a good product. It’s better than Biloxi Brewing Co., which seems to only make variations of their Biloxi Blonde. I do like how they don’t have a ton of sours and fruit beers, unlike Chandy. However, Chandeleur is the clear cut best Coast brewery.

Lazy Mag’s best beers are Me and the Dev-Ale, Indian summer, and KMG Gold, IMO. I used to like the Timber Beast but it seems as if they changed their recipe in probably 2013 or so. Chandy’s Best beers are Freemason, Ole Buddy IPA ( ), Lil’ Smack IPA, and Oatmeal Raisin Cookie brown ale.

I will say that the food at Lazy Mag’s tap room was surprisingly very good. It’s disappiinting that Chandy and Biloxi don’t serve any food.

Source: I frequent all of the Coast breweries.
