suggestions for those of us on a per diem. i think ours is $55/day and i usually grab a $1 biscuit at mcdonalds & skip lunch so i can maximize what i spend on dinner.

which of these places mentioned can you get a good meal for around $50?

Probably none of them. Vegas is absolutely absurd when it comes to prices.

Peppermill for late night eats and people watching amusement.

Jesse Rae's BBQ is nothing to look at but excellent food. It's close to the new stadium.

Ellis Island is close by if you want good, cheap eats.

I don't know about the others mentioned but I'll help with the two I mentioned.
Yelp link to pic of Grimaldi's menu (don't know if different prices in same city)

And here is a link to KoMex's menu on their website since it has prices on it:

Hope that helps you plan ahead.

Great offstrip place for breakfast is Mr Mamas. Chicken Fried Steak was first rate, and the prices don't raise your eyebrows.

You can go to Joe's and get the Fish and Chips (best I've ever had) and get out of there for under $50. Probably be able to squeeze in some of there Key Lime Pie as well.

Grimaldi's will also be under $50.

Depending on what you get Wazuzu can be had for under $50.

Nacho Daddy definitely below $50 depending on how much you drink.
