Obligatory Darrell's rec
Luna
Pujo St. Cafe
Steamboat Bill's

All this although I'm not crazy about Sha Sha's but the rest is awesome.

The Luna Tuna at Luna's is so good. I went to school with the guy who owns the place.

Seafood Palace on Enterprise is good also.

There are 2 Steamboat Bill's just FYI.

One is at Highway 14 and Broad (this one has more of the seafood market look to it)

The other is down on the frontage road next to I-10 downtown. A little overpriced but the food is good. I really like their gumbo.

Too bad Nina P's is closed for renovation right now. They have some good stuff too.

I mean it's okay, but it's not blow your socks off or anything. I like the meatball special.

On the FDB, Que Pasa =/= Mexican. There's a place in Sulphur that I hear is closer to authentic and very good.

You're probably referring to Rosita's on Hwy 90. Nothing fancy but I've had a very good meal at a reasonable price every time I've been in there.

Pujo St. is average at best.

Mazen's, Luna, Darrell's, Steamboat Bill's, and Tony's all get my vote.

Haven't been back to Popeye's since my first time here. The fried fish is just as good as the chicken fwiw

No reason to go to Popeyes with Balls Fried Yardbird in LC. Seriously, that place is legit if you like spicy fried bird.

Good one I forgot. I've heard they have the best burgers in LC as well, not that it's much of an accomplishment.
