Have to drive down from Natchitoches to Crowley for something tomorrow and want to catch a good brunch or lunch on the way.

Any suggestions for Lafayette or any hidden gems in small towns that wouldn't be too far out of the way?

Ruffino's or Spoonbill.

T-Coon's or Dwyer's are good for breakfast, too. But I don't know if they're fancy enough to be called brunch.

At the suggestion of someone outside of this board I ended up going to French Press. Ordered the Cajun Benedict and found it to be very good!

Cajun Benedict: Toasted French Bread, Hebert's Boudin, and Two Poached-Medium Eggs Topped with Chicken and Andouille Gumbo and Fresh Scallions.
