Not the same. The one in BR was originally Thomas Delpit’s Chicken Shack.

I recommend their Big Shack Sandwich. Better and cheaper than a regular chick-fil-a sandwich, but not quite as good as the spicy.

There's actually 3 locations in B.R.(Acadian blvd. & Florida blvd., Scotland Ave. & Scenic Hwy, and Mohican St. & Plank Rd) Their Plaquemine location shut down after a fire broke out not long after they open. I believe they also opened one in Thibodeaux that closed down also.

Krispy Krunchy is below Popeye’s and Publix but is good in a pinch and better than most fast food fried chicken IMO

KK from the Bastrop Chevron is better than a Popeyes and they serve excellent frog legs, therefore, even though I have not had Publix, KK is much, much better. Deal with it.
