I’ll be in Knoxville for few days. Any solid recommendations? No fine dining. Business casual down.

Thanks!

Thunder Road Burger (and some cake) at Litton's. Best burger I've ever had

Abridged has a fantastic hamburger and also a brewery they have 2 locations one in neighborhood the other is off Cedar Bluff and is bigger restaurant menu is same

A Dopo pizza is fantastic pizza try one of there daily creations and the gelato too.

The Market Square area has Stock and Barrel which is very good but it is small. Emilia’s never been but have heard great things about it.
Oliver Royal hotel has a cool bar Peter Kern Library and restaurant worth a visit

Southern Grit is a few blocks down

Local chains Aubreys and Calhouns are pretty consistent - )Calhouns is more bbq focused) on the River has a nice view

Sweet P’s Downtown Dive is good spot for BBQ.

Farmacy in Bearden area

Holly’s which is a good breakfast spot in Bearden

Agree with so many of these!

Abridged burger (at their own locations, OR they have a food truck at XUL brewing)

Southern Grit has the best creamy greens I've ever had and their mac & cheese is great, too.

Love the mac & cheese at Sweet P's, too, and they have a smoked turkey club that's great.

Litton's is basically right across the street from my neighborhood, so we go often. Great burgers, LOVE their onion rings, and the desserts are top-notch...maybe my favorite buttercream icing ever. The chargrilled chicken is out of this world...that and the Thunder Road are the only things I order because they're both so good.

La Herradura for street tacos.

We haven't made it to Sticky Rice Cafe yet (it is first on our list for the next time we're in that part of town), but by all accounts it is fantastic. It is Laotian food.

Do you know what part of town you’ll be in? Any type of cuisine? The food scene here is dramatically better than it was 10-15 years ago

I also like First Watch for breakfast/brunch/lunch (it closes at 3). They always have interesting seasonal menu items and they focus on healthy and organic, but still delicious food.
