Knob standard bottle, Deadwood if it's a barrel/store pick

The Elios one was freakin awesome.

Thanks for responses. It sounds like Knob Creek is preferred.

I say barrel pick as it may not be retail, i.e. private group pick

Store pick is a store, like Elios, picking the barrel and selling it retail in bottles.

Gotcha. Thanks. As you can tell, I’m quite ignorant when it comes to this.

stick with the knob. store picks are more for whisky nerds to dive deeper into the flavors. for your situation I wouldn't worry about that.

Which Knob Creek? The small batch is pretty solid.

In my opinion, angels envy is all hype. Knob is a superior bourbon at $10 to $15 less per bottle, or at least around me

No and yes. Knob is a pure bourbon, so I do agree it is superior in that aspect. AE is more of a unique experience in that it is a finished bourbon. Personally I love and prefer AE, but I would not recommend it to someone looking for a traditional bourbon profile. I can see why people aren't fans of it
