Went to the Frys here in Tucson…

$33 per pound!!

Holy shite! Is there a crab shortage?

Absolutely . When the stimulus checks went out, not a crab leg, chicken wing nor kool-aid to be found

Seriously crab and lobster pricing through the roof

Had a conversation the other day with someone and they were saying that in the past year the amount of boats that went out was down tremendously. And, due to the laws it will be less this year. Prices will only go up. Apparently he saw it watching Deadliest Catch.

Crab meat prices are through the roof and that is even if you can get it. 29.99 a pound for Bayou La Batre crab claws. Super Lump meat is had to come by these days.

That’s 4 bucks less than the cheapest I’ve seen it in the NW since it jumped in price recently.
