Hi folks,
I want to send some king cakes to clients across the country in the upcoming month. I just moved back into the area - what are considered the best bakeries to get them. I am sure there is controversy with this (on who the best is) but any recommendations would be appreciated

Manny Randazzo's. No other answer.The rest are inferior and that's just the dead honest truth if you want what the locals are bringing home. If you want to settle for less then please, by all means, see other options above and below for artsy, generic takes on the king cake.

I’ve used Haydel’s For years. Great cakes and reasonable shipping. People in other states don’t know the difference in king cakes FYI. Haydel’s are quality.

This is incorrect.
Randazzo’s is great if you love the giant cinnamon roll thing... and I don’t say that with any bad intent. I love Randazzo’s.
But Haydel’s Is my favorite. Still sweet for sure, but the dough stands out more

I order for clients every year. Randazzo's. If clients have a large office especially, they will love it.

I live in SW Miss, and I drive to Springfield, LA to pick mine up at Navarre's Famous King Cakes.
