I'm headed up to Louisville with one of my jackass friends for a few days in May. We plan to wander the Bourbon trail.

Experiences?

Don't take the jackass friend and ruin the experience for everyone else.

Did it last year, great trip! Don't miss Woodford Reserve really beautiful and historic. I flew into Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport, hit Buffalo Trace and then headed to Lexington for the night. The next day I did Woodford, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Makers and Heaven Hill. I spent the night in south Louisville and the next day did Jim Beam, Evan Williams, Bulleit and then hightailed it back to Lexington for Town Branch, spent the last night near the airport in northern Kentucky. I wish I would have had at least one additional day so it could have been done at a more relaxed pace. At the time I scheduled my trip, little did I know I'd be in Louisville on the same day as Ali's funeral...what a cluster! Enjoy your trip!

Do the Maker's tour and then buy a couple of bottles at the end. They let you wax dip the tops. Cool gift to bring home or for friends.
