May be that way and wondering what's a good, casual lunch place.

Burger at Tookies…or keep driving to San Leon and go to Pier 6

Well got to go to Gilhoolie’s for chargrilled oysters, boudin patties, and stuffed flounder. Must be 18 and up though

Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to Pier 6. The drinks can be hit or miss, but the food is always awesome. If you don't want seafood try Frenchies on NASA, the best Italian in the area, and their sandwiches have a mayo based sauce that is the bomb dot com.
Nothing on the Boardwalk is that great.

This is correct. It is all tourist trap food. However, I did eat at the Joe's Crab Shack and they had the best snow crabs ive had in a long time!

It's not directly on the boardwalk, but Bakkhus is a great Greek spot right there in the vicinity. And on a day like today their patio is very nice.

I second the Tookie's recommendation in Kemah, and Gilhoolie's in San Leon as well. I grew up in Seabrook and can't believe Tookie's is still around cranking out burgers.
