Yes like I said they are made of peas...

I don't care about the company personally and I hunt and fish. I'm not here ranting and raving. I'm simply saying they are a pretty solid non meat choice.

If you put a slice of american cheese on it along with some sauteed onions, its tastes every bit as good as something like a Mcdonalds 1/4 pounder. McDonalds is by no means a burger to set your standards to, but McDonald's has sold something like 500 billion burgers.

There isn’t a pea on the face of this planet that smells or taste like the Beyond Meow Mix burger.

Funny enough - My mom told me that my dad has been playing around randomly with the stock market since retiring and they made $22k in 2 days from Beyond Meat last week.

Maybe the Impossible Burger shortage has people buying up Beyond.

Beyond Burgers are good if you cook them correctly. It is very easy to overcook them. I usually saute them in olive oil but cooked some on a charcoal grill (don't use flavorless gas) a couple of weeks ago and they were fantastic.

The patent used for Beyond Meat burgers is a Mizzou invention, so Beyond Meat is really an SEC company if you think about it

But yeah, the whole idea is less to mimic the taste of a burger and more the texture of a burger. Chicken is notoriously impossible to mimic the texture of. Is it a burger? Heck no, but neither is a turkey burger (See Ron Swanson). It's good for what it is, which is not a burger.
