Just learned that Red Gravy restaurant closed down

The wife told me the other night that she heard it closed, and I just searched to discover this is fully true. Normally I hate to see people go out of business, but this is one that brings me much joy. The owner of that place treated her staff like absolute garbage to the point that she had a never ending rotation of servers, and she was proudly and openly politicizing her business with every SJW agenda that existed. She was to NOLA what Del Porto is to Covington.
Now make no mistake about it; she was a fantastic chef. That was truly amazing food she served there; however, we stopped going a few years back after having enough of her bullshite. I would leave there feeling terrible for her staff after watching how she would talk to them.
Here's the kicker of why she closed: too much government shut downs due to COVID. Imagine the bullshite for which you rant, promote and preach being the thing to end your business. Wowzers!
Good riddance! It couldn't have happened to a more deserving, hateful person.

She moved into the kitchen at NOLA Pizza Co for a minute doing some of their meatballs and other apps. That didn't last too long either. Not sure if NOLA Pizza quickly tired of her attitude or what.
Her latest thing was raffling off tickets to eat at her house.

first/only time I've ever seen someone have a section of their menu telling people to dine elsewhere if they believe in the failed ideologies of white supremacy movement and the nazi party. apparently she had a big nazi problem that needed to be addressed.
I think we can all agree nazi's are bad. regardless of anyone's beliefs, I'll never understand why business owners feel compelled to stuff their views down peoples throats.

I'd never eaten there, but followed the restaurant on Facebook. She has an abrasive personality, but from the comments on her FB page, she has a following. Costs got too high etc... so they felt they had to close. The NOLA Pizza Co deal was short lived, but she never shared a reason for that.
She also sells spaghetti and meatball dinners for $40 on Sundays if you pre-order, I believe. A lb of homemade pasta, a quart of sauce and 6 meatballs last I saw.
