These things are great. I had a spicy sausage and cheese one as well as a strawberry one. The fruit one was a great dessert. I love their bread. It reminds me of the buttery white rolls they used to serve at school before they changed the recipe and went all wheat or store bought nastiness.

I also have gotten the bacon and cheese kolache. It was pretty damn good. Not someplace I will eat very often but once a month or so it should make a nice treat.

Sunday before baseball games sounds like a great idea

I might go try those tomorrow. If I do, I'll be sure to report back to this thread.

Tried to get a strudel but apparently they aren't serving these yet.

Good food, friendly service, but they really need help in the math department. Both times I went and payed in cash, they froze up trying to make change. The first time was kind of funny, it was $4.16, I gave her a $5 bill and 16 cents in coins. She was at the cash register for over a minute trying to figure out what to do. When she came back, she said "here is your change, that's 86 cents," and handed me $1.01 in coins. I didn't try to tell her otherwise because there was a line and I know her brain couldn't handle that.

Checked it out this morning for a late breakfast. Had the sausage egg and cheese, and the bacon and cheese. They were both really good and ill be back. I just wish it was a little closer to where I lived.

Yes, I've had the Empanadas.
My two favorite are the Fajita Chicken and Fajita Steak. That actually may be my two favorite items on the menu.

I hit it for the first time as well this morning on the way to my son's baseball practice. Sausage and cheese was good like I used to get in Houston, the bacon was dry. Both would have probably been better with egg. Dough a little sweeter than I prefer-think a Mason's Grill bun-subtle sweetness. Very friendly and prompt service. Will go back.

Bacon, egg, & cheese ranchero is what you seek. It is money. Ranchero is what they call their bacon egg cheese, ham egg cheese, and a couple of other kolaches.

Man, all this kolache talk, and I may break my diet tomorrow am. Hopefully my longing will pass.

Any Texans been there? Are they as good as real Central Texas Kolaches and Klobasneks?

He's from Houston, and that city is pretty bad when it comes to Kolaches.

Well, if you like the Kolaches in Houston (Kolache Factory, Morning Kolaches, Shipleys), you are going to like The Kolache Kitchen(they don't have the huge variety, but it's a good start).

If you don't like such things, I don't wanna know ya.

All of those are chains that make inferior products. That's why I was asking for opinions from Texans...we know real Kolaches.
