I know the cans changed, but the 12 pack in working through just doesn't taste the same as I remember. Am I on to something or am I going crazy? Do I have covid?

You may have covid
Check the dates
Over time our taste change
Could have had a couple of bad cans

I like Jucifer but I like it on tap, I'm not a big fan of the canned version as I think it taste different, more muted flavor wise

This is the same thing that happened to Goose Island 312. It’s a wheat beer that I used to love 7-8 years ago and to me it tastes completely different these days.

I don’t mind the cans but it’s much better on tap.

Tin Roof Voodoo went through a phase where it was my favorite beer. Then, it became almost undrinkable overnight. Now, it seems like it's back to normal

No. It’s the same aborted fetus taste it’s always been. You’re just growing up and realizing that it’s shitty beer. Congrats. Now you can move on to adult beverages that don’t rely on gimmicks.

Is this a taste familiar to you?

I’ve always had issues with flavor stability of Jucifer in cans.

THANK YOU. I thought I was the only one. I get a chalky taste in my mouth from it now days and can barely chug it down.
Is there lactose in it now or something?

Another thing not mentioned yet in the thread is that hops are an agricultural product and will change year to year. The big breweries get first pick and will choose the one closest to their desired flavor profile. For example, Bell's has the best centennial hops, and SN gets the most primo citra. The lower down on the pecking order you are, the more variability to will have in hop flavors.

It's 9.99 q 6-pack at the Rouses by my house, not sure what is expensive about that
