My roomate in school(one of them) was from Monroe. He always brought Johnny's pizzas to Oxford with the cheese dipping sauce and it was great. Didn't realize how great until I actually tried it in person and had the buffet

I have had Johnny's. It is ok. I am told it was better when they used real ovens.

It's best when you cut the oven up to 500,heat your pizza stone, and slap it down for 3 to 5 minutes.FWIW,that's make most any pizza better,IMHO.

How about if I make my own pizza in that case. My crust is better than Johnnys.

If you grew up in North LA, Johnny's was just better than the all the other cheap pizza chains (Domino's, Pizza Hutt, Papa John's, etc.)

They always had pretty good deals too. A 14" one topping for $10 was hard to beat in HS.

Throw in all the specialty pizzas, and where else where you gonna go for pizza in N LA?

Gotta make linemen for West Monroe's football factory..it's all part of the grand plan..to keep Catholic-BR from winning a state title.

We'll see how funny West Monroe thinks it, once Catholic-BR boys start utilizing Johnny's of North America BR location pizza regimen too..fight fire with fire.

It's decent. The most distinctive thing is that they slice their pizza in rectangles. RECTANGLES, I TELL YOU!
