solid is a gross overstatement. Less than desirable would be a more accurate depiction. None of the aforementioned establishments hold a candle to its south Louisiana counterpart.

On top of this shite list, there is literally NO good Mexican, or ethnic food, in the entire town, other than Latin Food in West Monroe. You left portico off the list, which also failed miserably in Baton Rouge, but I particularly liked. Field House is an abomination to food service everywhere. Lester's had great food while it was open, atmosphere and ownership was awful, though.
Something about the egregious fatties of Monroe/West Monroe just don't tend to care for good food. They support mediocrity, so mediocrity grows.
