but BR has some great high end places to get a sandwich.

I'm talking in and out type places. "Fast food" per-say.

Sure the Chimes Club is better than all of these places. But I can't walk in, order it and be out in 5 minutes.

I wouldn't say it is high end, but Zeeland St. Market has great sandwiches. I ate lunch there at least 3 times a week, if not more while in school.

Is there even a decent non-chain sandwich shop in Baton Rouge where you can walk in, order and be out in 5 minutes that isn't Inga's? I'm actually curious because I need to start going there more often if there is.

A chain at the overpass. This is very very bad. I am extremely dissapointed by this.

What is this Fay's? I hadn't heard of that one. The others are good, but either decently overpriced or fried. Do love me some PoBoy express, I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Philly Me Up is on Jefferson.

South of Philly is on Sherwood.

Also, New Orleans PoBoy is good too if you're out in the Coursey/Sherwood area.

FWIW, Jimmy John's is a pretty small place. I cant see a chain type atmosphere taking over that area. I agree though, I'd hate to see that area get all side of I 10-ish. But, too many old establishments there, so I think it'll be okay

careful with the mayo- damn they must put 4 Tbsp of may on their sandwiches

I've seen Mario Williams in the JJ's off 59 a couple of times

Jimmmy John's is far better than Subway and Blimpies. People need to stop being sandwich snobs. If a local place sold the exact same sandwiches as JJ's they'd be praising how good it is.
