My wife makes great homemade beef jerky. What other readily accessible meats can be made into excellent jerky?

Depends on what is in season

Any type of meat that is lean will work

Chicken, pork, turkey all work well.
Game meats are also an option, although I don't get much of that now since I no longer hunt and my hunting friends are getting old like me.

Sorry about your not being hung.

Hell of a typo. Of course that is suppose to be "HUNT", but I'm sure you probably knew that....

You have a choice: Post her recipe and technique OR PICS, dammit!

I use deer back strap. Every so often I find a sale on select beef tenderloins and use that.
Next time she makes it brush on a little honey on the raw meat.

As others have said, most lean cuts will work. If you can get some deer, top and bottom round both make great jerky. Beef eye of round is on sale occasionally and is another great cut for jerky.

Tuna and wahoo make great jerky! My wife makes it occasionally when I'm not home to cook the dam fish....LOL
