Why is it so hard to find decent jerky in BR? Every gas station, grocery store, etc... sells either Jack Links, Matador, or some other terrible shite that has berries mixed in with it.
All i want, is the really dry salty jerky. Anyone know of some spots around town i may find some?

Iverstine Butcher sells a really nice, spicy jerky at their shop on Perkins. Not super dry though. Have a bunch of it there so not sure if there are different types.

But that isn't jerky. Those are meat sticks. They aren't bad, but i'm looking for something like this.

Iverstine has both pork and beef jerky. I wouldn't call it super dry, but the seasoning is on point. Both are delicious. I always grab some when I'm in there.

Sadly, the Denham Jerky Outlet closed. Dont believe it came back after the flood.

Is there a loves truck stop near by? man my teeth will be shifted and gums sore after a road trip when we stop by there. I'm a huge fan of the dry, thin Jerky

I don't think it even made it to the flood. It's definitely not open anymore.

It did flood while they were in business by bass pro. They moved by Cabela’s next to the Chinese buffet there but didn’t last long. Closest one is in Metairie I believe. There’s one at the Foley Tanger that I stop at when we go to the beach. Looks like you can order online.
