Crowd of 20 adults. Usually do a pig on the pit. A few years back we had some nice crawfish so we boiled.
What y’all doing?

Gumbo or corn and crab bisque if there’s a chill in the air.

Thinking of trying out Isaac Toup's gumbolaya, because it is NOT a jambalaya but looks damn tasty.

I made a big jambalaya and gumbo for a tailgate a few years back when we played aTm.
It was cold and rainy. After the game, everyone came back to the tailgate and mixed them both together in their bowls. Said it was great. Never did it again for some reason

I too have always wondered why Jambalaya has never been in gumbo, it seemed almost intuitive. Jamablaya...rice...gumbo...rice...

Probably too much flavor for one human though. Gotta watch those wings, Icarus.

I’m going to a buddy’s house for the game and I plan on bringing a bunch of homemade soft pretzels with a cheese dipping sauce.

Cooking at an adult beverage establishment. Gonna boil crawfish w/ the normal accompaniments in the pot, pastalaya, white beans and whatever else I come up with.
