Not here in Mexico. 1 dollar tacos all day. 8 bucks for enchiladas beans and rice. .....and that's at my favorite places. The Pacific coast Mexican can be more expensive and the really popular places raise their prices supply and demand.

Competition brings prices down. We have a lot of Thai and other Asian restaurants here, so prices are reasonable.
