Is Irene’s still open?

My wife and I are wanting to go eat at Irene’s in New Orleans but I heard it was closed. Does anyone know if that’s true?

Yep. A lot of staff has bolted recently though.

I really loved the old place and always received great service and food. However, I went to the new location ab two months ago and received some of the worst service I’ve ever had in the city and the food was subpar.

They got kicked out. Apparently the Louisiana Historical Archive bought the building and didn’t like having a kitchen in it.
