Yeah we are approaching the slow summer days for restaurants and if you're not healthy at end of spring it's a gamble to bet on summer turning things around. There's not a lot going on in town and tourism drops too, with exception of Essence. I have no data to back it up, but I'd think that this hurts places outside the CBD/FQ. In my own experience, I eat out more in FQ/CBD in summer because I can more easily get to places I avoid the rest of the year when I avoid eating downtown because of a festival, parade, big convention, Saints home game, etc. that makes getting around more difficult.

As I recall, he fell carrying one of his kids and bruised his knee. Went to work and could barely stand. Went to hospital and he has some huge form of bacterial infection that was running rampant through his body. Something like a really severe form of staph* At one point they brought in the priests for last rite's.
I remember going to a really great fundraiser for him at the Ritz to support the recovery.
*not even remotely correct in the medical accuracy realm and not a doctor, but that was the general gist.

I would hope so, since it was probably the best deal ever for a charity food event!
