For a couple of years now, India's buffet which was fantastic, went down.. The buffet line was slim to dismal.. But, I went by yesterday and surprisingly it seems like it's restored to its former high standard.

I seem to remember Bay Leaf had a lunch buffet in years past. Would be nice to see it restored as well...

I went last year and was surprised. India's was my first experience into indian food nearly 25 years ago. I have had many different types from many different cities since.

Went to Indias for the first time (lunch buffet) last year after not being there for quite some time. i was surprised how well it still holds up. Right up there. Kudos to them. Maybe nostalgia had some play in it

I only went to their buffet once, years ago, and didn’t care for it. The buffets at Al Noor, Swagat, and Bay Leaf were all way better. I’ll have to give it another try.

I sentence I never thought I would ever see on this board.

I went once about 20 years ago and thought I was in a live version of the scene for the buffet line in Vegas Vacation!

Is it still filthy dirty in there? Went a year ago and the buffet was lacking and it looked like shite in there.

This was the first time I've been in two or three years. I got my plate and got out.. Didn't check for mold in the ice machines. But the butter chicken and palak paneer were pretty damn good.

Did covid permanently kill all of these?

Not sure, but I don't think any have buffets anymore. Maybe Al Noor, but I wasn't impressed when I went several years ago. I'm not a fan of the Muslim-inspired Indian as much as other regions
