I like In-N-Out, and will go there every now and then when it opens, but my go to fast food will still be Whata.

Pretty sure the people who have the Mississippi Whataburger franchises are from NOLA.

Great burgers, but vastly overrated. Tons of local chains in DFW are much better for a similar price.

Agree. Had one in California 10 years ago and was expecting a life changing burger.
My co-worker has a hard on for this place and I truly think he's never had a burger from there.

The people who think it's the be all end all of burgers are just ridiculous. It's certainly a great burger, but it's really just a greasy diner burger from a fast food place. Similar to Dairy Queen honestly

houston's gonna be saturated with burger joints very, very soon
i know shake shack has around 5 total coming (1 already here), hopdoddy's gonna bring at least 3, and then now in n out.

Seriously, can someone help me figure out what's so great about Whataburger? I've tried it several times and it's awful. What am I missing? What should I be ordering? The only thing I thoroughly enjoy there is the honey butter chicken biscuit.

You bite your goddamn tongue.
Does InnOut use an actual Charcoal grill?

It's already saturated, which I'm OK with. My favorites are non-franchises, with 1 exception. Here they are in random order, each one is kick arse in its own right.
-- Hubcap Grill
-- Lankford Grocery
-- Stanton City Bites
-- Bellaire Broiler Burger

After having In-N-Out this week in Cali, all I can feel right now for this is just meh.
I was very underwhelmed by what I tasted. I do not understand the hype. I will choose many other burger joints when this arrives.

They are good burgers and I love the presentation, but I think I'd go with an A1 Thick and Hearty everyday of the week.

If you go into it like it's just any other place, you'll be happy. The pedestal that people, especially west coast food snobs, put that shite on is absurd.

Meh....I'll continue going to Mia's or Lankford for my burger fix.

You had Hubcap's hatch green chile burger?
Posted on 2/1/17 at 6:33 pm to Salmon
Whopper with cheese, plain, is the best fast food burger
