In honor of opening day - Ball park food

What's the best/worst/weirdest ball park food you have had.
For me, the warm bowl of Clam Chowder at Fenway on a cold day was pretty awesome.
The Cuban at Marlin's Park was pretty damned good too!
If you're at the Ballpark in Arlington this year, you may want to check out the "Dilly Dog":

Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas, is home to the Texas Rangers and one divisive food: the Dilly Dog. Globe Life Park announced its 2018 season food offerings and it includes a sizable deep-fried hot dog-stuffed pickle.
The Dilly Dog starts with a beef hot dog placed inside a hollowed-out Best Maid pickle that is then dipped in batter and deep-fried. But the unique park fare is dividing fans.

I’m always disappointed when I step away from the classic. Just give me a good hot dog with some mustard, onions and relish.

Sausage Sundae (Rangers Ballpark, Arlington)
The Rangers have gotten a ton of press (complete with predictable “everything’s bigger in Texas” gags) for their “Boomstick,” a two-foot, $26 chili-cheese dog. But we prefer the more inventive, less expensive, and far tastier Sausage Sundae: Two halves of a peppery sausage link reclining on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and chopped brisket, topped with a parsley and pepper garnish.
Golic and Wingo were talking about this today, and it sounds incredible..
ETA: So I legit have a downvote stalker on this board. Glad I bother you so much.

I might have to try making something like that.

sounds dumb but there has to be some sort of upscale ingredients right?

Sounds amazing.
Edit: There is not a major league ballpark that can compete with the Charleston Riverdogs for ballpark food.

Went to Cape Cod games last summer in Hyannis and the food (clam chowder) at those games is better than Fenway

Lobster roll at Fenway Park. Can't beat it.

Rangers ballpark has legit food. I like just getting the brisket on a hot dog.

Yeah who would ever want to go to an awesome ballpark?

Doesn't negate how awesome The Ballpark is. No idea why they're building a new one but it's not because this one sucks.

I ate crickets at safeco last year, they were pretty good.

Also because the jackasses built a stadium without a roof in the middle of Texas. That's literally the reason. Find some renderings of the new stadium, looks very familiar to the folks a couple hours south.

Enron will be replaced by the time it's 25 also. Its the way of the world.

Agreed with sticking to the classic dog with lighter toppings.
Some of the food made at ballparks these days is over-the-top. Feel like if I ate some that stuff, I would feel awful afterwards and not even enjoy the game.

Yep. We went there once in the first couple of years after it opened. Either late July or early August. Felt like 100 degrees for a night game during the week.
They were selling those frozen Minute Maid lemonades, and a guy we were with practically made love to it for three innings. Wiping the plastic cup across his forehead, cheeks, and arms. Slowly scraping bites of it out and holding it in his mouth. It was a truly disgusting display of an old geezer just trying to cool off. And the ballpark smelled horrible.
