What's your favorite way to cook piranha?

Piranha is actually pretty damn good. We did a trip to the Pantanal and stayed on a boat that was also a lodge. One afternoon the sink on the back of the boat was full of freshly caught piranha. They cooked it up in a white sauce, some people refused to eat it but it was one of the best meals of the trip.

Did not get the recipe.

What kind of person is adventurous enough to go to the Pantanal but won’t eat that?

Plenty on a trip like that. Most just want to see a Jaguar (we did) and don't care much beyond that. Then at least 1/3 are Vegan/Vegetarian. Almost everybody has food peculiarities. It's really a pretty easy trip.

Ok then.
Sounds like the kind of trip I’d avoid. Haha!
